Flattening device TS-Optics 1.0x for refractors and full frame sensors - connection M63x1
This flattener corrects the field of ED and APO refractors of at least 500 mm focal length for astrophotography without changing the focal length.

Flattening device TS-Optics 1.0x for refractors and full frame sensors - M63x1 connection
This corrector is suitable for refractors from 500 mm focal length. It works, among others, very well with PHOTOLINE apochromats and with TS-Optics ED refractors from 4" aperture. The corrector offers 100% illumination and correction up to 45 mm (image circle), so it can be used very well for cameras with full-frame size sensors.
The connection to the telescope focuser:
The TSFlat25Del corrector has a M63x1 (male) thread on the telescope side. Several focusers already have a corresponding female thread. For other focusers, we offer corresponding conversion adapters.
Attention: The order of adaptation is - from the telescope to the camera:
1. the corrector itself - the knurled ring is on the side of the red distance ring.
2. the red distance ring
3. the transition adapter to M48
Camera connection:
The TSFLAT25Del offers two possibilities for camera connection:
♦ Directly to the corrector, there is a female thread M63x1. The generous working distance of this thread is 85 mm. Therefore, you have enough space for accessories such as filter wheels, off-axis guiding and much more.
♦ There is also a conversion adapter to M48x0.75 included in the scope of delivery. The working distance of this thread is exactly 55 mm. This is perfect for attaching DSLR cameras (T-ring + camera only) or astro cameras. The adapter makes sense if the camera is to be connected directly to the corrector.
The flattener is suitable for the following telescopes and for telescopes with a similar focal length and focal ratio:
From 700 mm focal length, 55 mm working distance of the M48 thread with the M63 extension tube applies.
- Refractors TS-Optics ED with at least 700 mm focal length
- TS-Optics PHOTOLINE apos with at least 700 mm focal length
- All other refractors with a focal length of at least 700 mm
- RC Telescopes from TS-Optics or Astro Tech with 10" aperture or more
- Refractors between 600 mm and 700 mm focal length: Working distance increases by 5 mm.
- Refractors between 500 mm and 600 mm focal length: Working distance increases by 10 mm
- For refractors with an even shorter focal length we recommend other correctors.

- Connection on camera side: M48x0.75 thread (male) and M63x1 thread (female)
- Working distances: 55 mm from the external thread M48x0.75 and 73 mm (if M63 extension is omitted)
- Maximum working distance from the internal thread M63x1: 85 mm - sufficient space for almost all adaptations
- M48x0.75 filter thread for the use of 2" nebula filters in the camera adapter
- The corrector does not change the focal length - factor 1.0
- Focal plane position of the refractor is not modified.
- Fully illuminated and corrected image field: 45 mm full frame format.
