Reducer/Flattener 0.77x for SKYWATCHER EVOSTAR 150ED

The flattener is a field-equalizing lens, as the field is slightly curved by the primary optics. This curvature makes the stars displayed at the edge of the field of view less sharp. The flattener, also called a field flattener, corrects this effect. Thus, astrophotographers can enjoy images in which the stars remain sharp all the way to the edge of the exposure. The flattener is installed between the telescope and the camera.

Designed specifically for the Sky-Watcher EVOSTAR Refractor, the new three-lens focal reducer/flattener has a reduction factor of 0.77x. It comes with a standard adapter with M48 threaded edge and 55mm rear focus for use with Sky-Watcher's M48 Canon EOS and Nikon adapter rings. After removing the adapter, an internal M71x1 thread with up to 75mm back focus is available for self-made adapter solutions.

The reducer/focuser produces a fully illuminated and corrected image circle of 34mm diameter and is therefore perfectly suitable for image formats up to APS-C, but can also be used for the FULL FRAME format.
