TS-Optics Photoline Apo-Reducer 0.74x for apochromatic and ED refractors
The 3-element 0.74x reducer and flattener is calculated for apochromatic refractor telescopes. The corrector is suitable for almost all refractors with focusers from 2.5" and up. The focal length is reduced to 74 % and the speed is increased accordingly. At the same time, the field of view is corrected. Now cameras with full frame size sensors can turn your refractor with Photoline 0.74x-Reducer into a fast astrograph.

The main advantages of the Photoline Reducer:

♦ A new design solves the tilt problem.
♦ The reducer can be used on all refractors with focusers starting at 2.5". The required back focuser is 180 mm from the connecting thread. Suitable adaptations via M68 are available.
♦ The working distance from the M48x0.75 thread is 55 mm. Ideal for astronomical cameras and DSLR/SLR cameras.
♦ The corrector offers another thread on the camera side, which allows to extend the working distance up to 105 mm
♦ The corrector fits all focusers with M68x1 internal thread. Of course, transition adapters are available, e.g. to M63x1.

The working distance from the corrector to the camera:
Due to the new design, the corrector tolerates working distance deviations of up to +/- 1 mm. However, you should keep the distances as accurate as possible.

From a focal length of 700 mm, the following working distances apply:

♦ From external thread M48x0.75: 55 mm

♦ For apos with a focal length of 600 mm to 700 mm, the working distance is increased by 1 mm.
♦ For apos with a focal length of 550 mm to 690 mm, the working distance is increased by 3 mm.
♦ For apos with a focal length of 480 mm to 540 mm, the working distance is increased by 5 mm.

GENERAL FEATURES:

Photoline field corrector for astrophotography shortens the focal length to 74% and increases the speed of refractors with full image field correction.
♦ Focal length reduction: 0.74x: exposure time is reduced by almost half

♦ Image field correction and illumination up to 44mm diameter, the corrector is designed for full frame size

♦ Multi-layer, anti-reflective coating prevents flare and ghosting

the corrector is suitable for APO and ED refractors from a focal length of 480 mm and a minimum backfocus of 180 mm from the connecting thread

♦ Connection on the telescope side: external thread M88x1 and internal thread M82x1 - we offer the suitable adapter for M68x1 - individual adaptations are possible

♦ Connection on camera side: male thread M48x0.75 and male thread M76x1

♦ Working distance: 55 mm from the external thread M48, working distance can be extended up to 105.7 mm

♦ Inner thread for filter 2" (M48x0.75)

♦ 360° rotation chamber rotation for optimal crop choice
