0.8x Flattening Reducer TS-Optics for Refractor TS 70 mm f/6 CF Apo

Field corrector TS 0.8x for CF-Apo 70 mm f/6
The corrector is designed for this apochromatic and provides optimal astrophotographic results. Cameras up to full frame can be used and star images are pointed all the way to the corners. In addition, the focal length of the apo is reduced to 336 mm. The focal ratio improves to f/4.8, which saves approximately 36 % in exposure time compared to a 1.0x flattener.

Connecting cameras to the corrector:
On the camera side, the corrector has an M48x0.75 male thread. This thread provides 15% more illumination than the T2. Therefore, we can recommend the corrector for all cameras up to full frame. The working distance is exactly 55 mm from the thread. For all astronomical cameras there are suitable adapters for this thread and distance. We are happy to advise you.

Thread for 2" nebula filters available:
If you unscrew the camera adapter from the corrector, it has a 2" filter thread inside. There you can use nebula filters for contrast enhancement or IR cut filters. The working distance does not change.

[[La conexión en el lado del telescopio:}]The corrector has a male thread M63x1 on the side of the telescope. An adapter for the M54x0.75 thread is included in the scope of delivery. With this adapter, you can screw the corrector directly into the focuser of the TS CF apo. No tilting is possible and the star image remains optimal.

Adaptation of astro cameras with 17.5 mm T2 thread distance to sensor:
Many astro cameras have a T2 connection thread and a 17.5 mm rear focus. With this adaptation you have also integrated a 360° rotation, a quick coupling and even a 2" filter mount. You need the following components, from camera to telescope:

♦ TSROTM48-T2 (adapter to M48, rotation, quick coupling and filter holder)
