Set of 1¼" diameter Baader LRGB filters optimized for CMOS

This new generation of Baader CMOS filters features:

  • CMOS-optimized Baader filters
  • Higher contrast, combined with typical CMOS quantum efficiency and s/n ratio
  • Reflex-Blocker™ coatings, for the greatest freedom from halos, even in the most adverse conditions related to auxiliary optics
  • Filter thickness identical to existing standards, with extreme care for parafocality
  • Blackened edges all around, with filter lead-side indicator in the form of a black outer edge on the telescope side, to additionally eliminate any reflections due to light falling on the edge of a filter
  • Each filter individually coated, with sealed coating edge (NOT cut from a larger plate with exposed coatings)
  • Life-Coat ™: increasingly hard coatings to allow for a coating that will not age for life, even in the harshest environment

General Features:

  • 1¼" x 2 mm Baader LRGB bandpass filter set, suitable from f/15 to f/1.8 - with 1¼" (28.5 mm) filter thread
  • RGB anti-glare filter (red / green / blue) with extremely high transmission of the respective color channel, which simultaneously reduces stray light and reflections to an unprecedented level
  • Including UV / IR cut-off (L-filter) with 98% transmission over the entire visible spectrum from 420 to 685 nm
  • Balanced RGB design allows taking subframes with the same exposure time, which is extremely important for automated imaging tasks.
  • Reflex-Blocker ™ hard-coated and planoptically polished, with sealed coating edges (Life-Coat ™)
  • Blackened edges all around, with filter lead-side indicator in the form of a black outer edge on the telescope side
  • Optimized for modern CMOS cameras, but excellent for CCD camera technologies
