Ultra-Highspeed Baader H-alpha 3.5nm 31 mm CMOS-optimized Ultra-Highspeed Filters

This new generation of Baader CMOS filters features:

  • CMOS-optimized Baader filters
  • Increased contrast
  • Increasingly narrower pass bands
  • Reflex-Blocker ™ coatings, for the greatest freedom from halos, even in the most adverse conditions related to auxiliary optics
  • FWHM in each filter category carefully designed to allow 1: 1: 1: 1 exposures, combined for typical CMOS quantum efficiency and s/w ratio
  • Filter thickness identical to existing standards, with extreme care for parafocality
  • Blackened edges all around, with filter lead-side indicator in the form of a black outer edge on the front side, to additionally eliminate any reflections due to light falling on the edge of a filter
  • Each filter individually coated, with sealed coating edge (NOT cut from a larger plate with exposed coatings)
  • Life-Coat ™: increasingly harder coatings to allow for a coating that will not age for life, even in the harshest environment
