The L-eNhancefilter is a dual bandpass filter that allows nebular photography with DSLR, CMOS/CCD color cameras. It significantly reduces light pollution allowing color cameras to achieve the quality of monochrome cameras with narrow band filters. It preserves the RGB image but also adds the narrow band signals of H-alpha, H-beta and OIII and thus provides an excellent deep sky image even from the most light polluted skies.

The OPTOLONG L-eNhance filter has an ultra-clean substrate after passing through 13 ultrasonic cleaning tanks and purified water, to effectively remove any remaining impurities and dust.

Its outermost coating with ion-assisted electron beam evaporation deposition technology provides enhanced durability and scratch resistance, as well as CWL (center wavelength) stability unaffected by temperature changes.

All OPTOLONG L-eNhance filters undergo extensive quality control: each filter is individually tested with spectrophotometer and laser interferometer to ensure that its output spectrum and wavefront is adequate.

The first image is an integration of 32 shots of 300 seconds of exposure, without filter.
