Baader CCD Filter S-II Ultra Narrowband 4.5nm round 36 mm Ø unmounted

Premium filter Baader Planetarium Sulfide II CCD with 4.5 nm bandwidth, 36 mm unmounted Ø and 3 mm optical glass thickness. This Ultra Narrowband type filter shuts out all light except the wavelengths emitted by Sulfide II, with a central peak at 673 nm transmission, resulting in a marked improvement in contrast in the S II spectral range, allowing access to the finest details of nebulae.

The glass is optically polished on both sides of the filter. The surface treatment is dielectric to achieve the highest possible bandpass accuracy, IR blocking and no reflections or halos, and the coating edges are sealed to prevent loss of performance due to aging of the material. It works perfectly in focal ratios from f/8 to f/3.
