Filter STC Astro Duo Narrowband 2" Astro Duo-Narrowband 2" Filter

The Astro Duo-Narrowband filter is designed to capture specific wavelengths of gaseous and planetary nebulae. Of particular interest to astrophotographers is the Hα emission line at 656nm and the OIII lines at 500nm, where the filter features high transmission and blocks light pollution by near-zero transmission at other wavelengths, resulting in increased image detail and contrast. Professional ion beam assisted deposition and AR coating technology is applied on Schott optical glass to ensure increased durability and excellent image quality.

IBAD (ion beam assisted deposition) coating technology makes the glass more durable and easier to clean, and prevents aging variation of optical spectral characteristics due to temperature and humidity change.

The matte black anodized and Teflon-coated frame design eliminates glare and is easy to install or remove from the eyepiece barrel.
