Variable Polarizing Filter Kepler 2".
This versatile filter acts as a light dimmer for your telescope, lowering the brightness intensity of the Moon and planets to make observing much more comfortable. The reduction of the brightness and thus of the generated halos, unmasks fine details of the observed object and in general improves the contrast noticeably. The filter consists of two high quality polarizing filters joined in a rotating cell (360°) that allows you to adjust the exact amount of light transmission you are interested in. Such control of the light intensity reaching your eyes is ideal for Moon observation as the brightness of the Moon is highly dependent on the phase of the Moon. The filter can reduce lunar brightness by 1% to 40%.
This polarizing filter is also perfect for daytime terrestrial observation as it filters out polarized light coming from reflections on metallic surfaces or on the sea itself. It is therefore ideal for sunny days. The filter is mounted in an anodized aluminum cell that threads directly into any 2" eyepiece.
The reduction of reflections to an optimum level allows you to discover many more lunar and planetary features, without significantly changing the color of the objects.
