Colored filters offer new possibilities for lunar and planetary observation, increasing the contrast and detail visible in each region of the visible spectrum by allowing only light of the corresponding wavelength to pass through.
Teleskop Service filters are threaded on both sides, so that they can be combined together without loss of observational quality. Thus, by combining a yellow and a blue filter, the performance of a green filter can be obtained.
