External Filter Wheel Moravian CCD-EFW-4L-9 for G4 Series CCD Cameras
The wheel accepts 9 x 2" filters with a screw-in cell or 50mm without a cell and is compatible with the off-axis guide from Moravian, making it perfect for LRGB or narrow band tri-color photography.
The diameter of the filter holder wheel is 226mm and is supplied only with the purchase of a camera.
Many astrophotographers prefer to have all their filters combined in one unit. The most commonly used filters are 3 narrow band filters O III, H-alpha, S II or the four LRGB filters. In this filter wheel, only five filters can be inserted together, making it the perfect solution for optimal remote camera operation.
To enable trouble-free adaptation, the working distance is short. Thus, the total distance is 33.5 mm from the sensor to the outside of the front filter housing.
The filter wheel receives power and camera control commands from a single cable with RJ45 connector.
The filter wheel is screwed directly to the camera. Even then, there is still enough space to use Canon telephoto lenses, for example.
The included SIPS software controls the wheel and drivers for MaximDL and AstroArt are also included.
As some cameras cannot control the filter wheels, the manufacturer offers a tool for the configuration of the internal and external filter wheels of the G2, G3 and G4 CCD cameras. The tool is available at: https://www.gxccd.com/cat?id=150&lang=409
