It is offered in 4 different sizes (the smaller ones also with two different thicknesses) and have carousels of different sizes.

The QHYCFW3 filter wheels improve on the QHY 2nd Gen. filter wheel predecessors with a new friction drive motor (instead of the QHYCFW3). Gen. with a new friction drive motor (instead of the gears used in the previous version), with no backlash and allowing high precision positioning and stopping.

It is a high quality ultra-thin hybrid stepper motor with higher precision and smaller pitch angle that is enclosed and therefore protected from dust or other external agents, which improves reliability and motor life. This motor

allows reversing the direction of rotation of the carousel, which can rotate clockwise or counterclockwise.

It has two control modes and switching between the two is simple with one button.
