Eyepiece Vixen Plössl NPL 30mm.

If you are looking for a higher quality eyepiece, the NPL Plössl eyepiece series from Vixen offers enhanced performance with a wide range of focal lengths. Vixen has designed this range of eyepieces with the user's demands and needs in mind, so that you benefit from the features that have made this series unique.

The eyepiece has a symmetrical four-element Plössl optical design. Among its many features are the blackened edges of its lenses that minimize internal reflections and increase contrast, the multilayer treatment of the lenses that increases light transmission and contrast, and each Vixen eyepiece includes a double anodizing process to prevent reflections from the top of the barrel, unlike most manufacturers that use reflective surfaces. These eyepieces are threaded for attaching the 31.8mm diameter astronomical filters.

The 2-group, 4-element PLOSSL NPL eyepiece assembly provides flat, clear images with good color correction.
