Imaging with larger and larger sensors imposes previously more limited constraints. Indeed, it is essential that a large-diameter sensor (beyond the APS-C format) be perfectly perpendicular to the optical axis, otherwise there will be strongly deformed stars at the edge of the field. However, the orthogonality defect, called tilt, can be corrected with an adjustable adapter.
For this purpose we offer under our brand Kepler an inclination corrector in M48 format (input / output). It adapts to most configurations and is easy to use. 3 screws at 120 ° allow to use an Allen key supplied to adjust the inclination of a first ring with respect to another. The other 3 screws are for locking.
