Spacer TS 20mm spacer for focuser TS UNCN2-G2
The spacer ring is the ideal solution when the focuser is too far away from the focuser or when a long coma corrector is to be used. It is not necessary to fully retract the focuser tube and can securely hold or screw on the accessory, e.g. the coma corrector.

Spacer TS 20mm spacer for focuser TS UNCN2-G2
The spacer ring is the ideal solution when the focuser is too far away from the focuser or when a long coma corrector is to be used. It is not necessary to completely remove the tube from the focuser and can securely hold or screw on the accessory, e.g. the coma corrector.
The connection of the spacer is very simple.
♦ Separate the focuser from the base by loosening the small grub screws. Then remove the focuser.
♦ Insert the 20 mm spacer into the base, please make sure that the spacer is fully seated in the base. Then retighten the base capscrews.
♦ Next, place the focuser on the spacer and secure it to the base with the three capscrews.
... and the conversion is finished. Usually even collimation is correct and you can immediately start with photography or observation.
General features:
The adapter is mounted between the focuser and the OAZ base and increases the distance by 20 mm.
♦ Suitable for Newtonian focusers TS-Optics UNCN2-G2.
♦ The spacer is mounted between the base and the focuser. The focuser is fixed with three grub screws.
ideal solution to problems when the focusing position is too far away from the focuser.
♦ Several spacers can also be used in succession.

The technician's commentary in Telescopiomania:
* There are other extenders on the market, with the same characteristics, at the level of threads, metrics and distance. But the problem is that the quality of the material with which this spacer from TS is made is superior so that the threads are good enough not to be damaged by having to support the weight of a heavy optical train. That is to say, if we are really going to have an optical train that is at the limit of the load capacity of the focuser, it is important that the extender is the original one from TS.
