TS CF-APO 90/600 mm FPL55 triplet apochromatic
The 90 mm APO has pure color and bright light, and is equally suitable for visual observation and astrophotography. Thanks to the FPL55 APO element (comparable to the FPL53), the image is first-class and, in practice, indistinguishable from Russia's world-famous LZOS lenses.
The compact apo is only slightly larger than the apos with an 80 mm aperture, but offers much better performance on the sky. This refractor is an ideal travel telescope due to the retractable dew cap and a transport length of a good 400 mm.
The 90mm apo lens:
The triplet lens with a 90mm aperture and 540mm focal length meets the criteria for a full apo. Even at magnifications of 300x, the image is free of annoying chromatic aberrations. Even bright stars show up in astrophotographs without disturbing blue fringing.
The APO element consists of FPL55. Another special glass supports chromatic correction. The triplet lens with air gap is fully adjustable. Each air-glass optical surface is multi-coated. The objective is in an adjustable cell with temperature compensation.
The 2.5" rack and pinion photographic focuser:
The 2.5" CNC focuser is optimized for photography and can withstand a load of up to 6 kg. Adjustment of the extraction tube is gear driven. We also offer motorized focusing for the focuser. An internal M63x1 thread is available for screw-on adaptations. The focuser also offers 360° rotation to select the correct image section.
Astrophotography with the APO
To achieve the optimum image in the field, a corrector is needed. The corrector screws directly onto the M63 thread of the apo. We recommend two correctors, both suitable for cameras up to full format. The working distance from the M48 thread to the sensor is 55 mm.
