The TS PHOTOLINE triplet APOtelescopes offer high quality images reaching performance levels that until now were only available with much more expensive equipment . Chromatic aberrations have been virtually extinguished and color correction is much better than that offered by standard ED doublet refractors. Undoubtedly, the TS PHOTOLINE telescopes guarantee high performance ideal for astrophotographers, with the ability to fully illuminate large CCD sensors and with temperature compensated lens sustaining cells.

The lens is air spaced and not cemented. This avoids problems arising from thermal variations that often occur with triplet objectives that are cemented (physically bonded together, in contact). The telescope TS PHOTOLINE 107/700mm can be recommended without reservation to work with CCD's up to 45mm diagonal.

The image is free of chromatic aberration and false coloration. The TS 107mm triplet f/6.5 is a refractor equipped with one of the best lenses in its class on the market, including an FPL-53 O'Hara element. The temperature-compensated lens cell keeps the lens free of stress even when operating below 0°C. A solid metal tube and the new Photoline 3" RPA focuser make this a highly recommended choice for both the observer and the astrophotographer.

Each telescope is tested on our optical test bench and is shipped perfectly collimated. In addition, this model is constructed with three adjustable segments. The RPA focuser is an alternative to the Starlight Instruments Feather Touch focuser with a quality very close to that of the Feather Touch focuser but for a much more reasonable cost. Load capacity up to 6Kg without slipping or flexing.

Photographic use with two focal lengths (optional):

• 525mm focal length (f / 4.9) withOPTIONAL RICCARDI reducer .
• Using the 0.75x Riccardi reducer, the resulting focal length is 525mm, so that sensors up to 42mm in diameter will be fully illuminated.
• The reducers are screwed to the M82 thread of the focuser using the TSM78-M82 adapter. The back focus with M82 is 78.3 mm.

• 700mm focal length (f / 6.5) with 2.5" full-size coupler
• This coupler illuminates even full size sensors at 100%. The back focus with M69 female thread is 99mm.
