Thanks to the triple ED apochromatic air-gap apochromatic lens, it focuses an image with high contrast and pure colors. At the heart of its astronomical photography machine is the FCD-100 glass from Hoya in Japan, known for its low chromatic aberration. It makes it possible to observe nebulae and planets even at very high magnification and still obtain clear, sharp images.

Thanks to technological innovation, Hoya has successfully optimized the series production of the FCD-100. An optical glass with extremely low dispersion, even approaching fluorite. By combining it with a high refractive index optical glass, it has been possible to achieve unprecedented chromatic aberration correction.
Large, precise and stable 2.5" focuser
The improved 2.5" hybrid focuser makes observation and photography even more comfortable and precise. This focuser is based on the Crayford principle, but has an additional guide rail in the form of a rack and pinion with inclined slots. The combination of these techniques gives the focuser great precision and stability.
Easily attach any accessory, from adapters to large eyepieces or heavy camera equipment: the apochromatic can handle equipment with a total weight of up to 10 kg. Once the focus is set, it stays in place with every movement of the telescope.
Rotates 360 degrees: the focuser can be rotated and locked, making it easy to align with the object you want to photograph.
M63 threaded connection (internal): in addition to the classic 2" connection (with 1.25" reducer adapter) for eyepieces and cameras, this instrument also offers a 63 mm thread, so you can attach a flattener or reducer easily and stably.
The dual-purpose handle
Simply clever: with the practical carrying handle, you always have your apochromatic at hand. Both during transport and when attaching it to the mount. In addition, the handle also serves as a mounting rail for parallel-mounted accessories. So everything has its place: use, for example, a guide tube and a guiding camera.
