Modular apochromatic telescope Askar V - 60 mm and 80 mm
Askar V is a newly launched product that responds to the needs of Askar customers. It features a great innovation, which means that it has not only two objective lenses (60 mm and 80 mm), but also three accessories (reducer, flattener and extender). Users can choose and adapt the accessories according to their needs in terms of focal lengths.
The overall appearance of the Askar V is simple and generous, the ivory white and silver color scheme makes it fresh and elegant, and every detail of the design reflects exquisite craftsmanship and quality. The Askar V not only has an elegant appearance and high-quality mechanical design, but also boasts stellar performance and a rich configuration of functions.
The V60 objective lens and V80 objective lens both adopt triple APO design, two of which are ED glass, which can effectively eliminate chromatic aberration and enhance image clarity. The native focal ratio of the V60 is f/6 and the focal length is 360mm. The native focal ratio of the V80 is f/6.25 and the focal length is 500 mm. The V is equipped with three additional attachments adjustable to 60 mm or 80 mm scales by rotation. The rear end of each attachment has M48 and M54 adapters with built-in 2" filter thread and the rear focus is a standard 55mm.
Using the V reducer, you can effectively reduce the exposure time and expand the field of view to meet more of the shooting requirements. When the reducer is used with the V60 lens, the focal length is reduced to 270mm and the focal ratio increases to f/4.5; when the reducer is used with the V80 lens, the focal length is reduced to 384mm and the focal ratio increases to f/4.8. The V reducer unlocks the new features of the Askar V, bringing more convenience and possibilities to your wide-field deep-sky astrophotography.
The V-flattening improves field curvature, edge quality and reduces aberrations. When used with the 60mm lens, the focal length remains 360mm and the focal ratio is f/6, while when used with the 80mm lens, the focal length changes to 495mm and the focal ratio becomes f/6.18. The V-flattener helps you take clearer and more professional photos. It is an indispensable aid for high quality photography.
The V extender, as the highlight of the product set, fully shows the non-stop innovation spirit of Askar and fulfill a part of the vacant market. If the V extender is used with the objective lens at the 60mm aperture, the focal length is 446mm and the focal ratio is f/7.43; at the 80mm aperture, the focal length is 600mm and the focal ratio is f/7.5. It supports both connection to objective lenses of different apertures and effective focal length magnification, allowing sharper images to be captured and more detail to be observed.
The ASKAR V comes with a new 360° scaled rotator and finder base, 1.25 and 2 visual adapters, which enable high quality visual observation. The multi-functional handle design makes it more portable and easier to attach to the vixen style finder base and accessories.
In a word, this telescope is a very cost-effective choice whose multi-function advantage caters to amateurs of all levels. Whether you are new to the world of astronomical telescopes or a seasoned amateur, you will find something to suit your needs in the V. The Askar V is a must-have telescope for you.
