PRODUCT DETAIL
The ZWO FF65 APO is a refractive astrograph with a powerful flat field optical design that saves you the high cost of a field flattener. It eliminates the hassle of calculating the back focus distance of the flattener and any possible accessories you may need. As long as the lens is in focus, the entire optical system is perfect for image capture. This makes the entire setup process much more convenient and saves you time, allowing you to pay more attention to the actual imaging.
The FF65 APO is also a good choice for visual observation. It fits both diagonals and multiple eyepieces and can achieve perfect focus, and can even be used to observe planets with a super high magnification eyepiece.
The entire telescope design is compact and lightweight. The OTA weighs only 2 kg, and the complete package with tube rings and other accessories weighs 2.8 kg.
It has an aperture of 65 mm. The focal ratio is f/6.4 and the focal length is 416 mm. Instead of the quadruple structure of other ZWO FF APO telescopes, the FF65 APO is a quintuple with two ED lenses that offers excellent control of chromatic and other aberrations.
The FF65 APO supports the full-frame image circle and has a fine dot pattern with small distortions of the peripheral stars. The 2.5" rigid focuser comes with a new type of 360-degree rotator with scales and a finder base. It also has adapters for M68, M54 and M48 cameras, and the M48 adapter has a 2" female thread for installing filters.

The FF65 APO is compatible with full-frame cameras such as the ASI6200, giving you a wider field of view. Stars are small and round with a central RMS radius of 2.5um.
Self-flattening design
With no need for a separate field flattener, the FF65 APO eliminates the hassle of calculating the rear focus distance of the flattener and connecting various accessories to achieve that distance. Just attach the accessories you need. As long as the lens is in focus, the entire optical system is perfect for image capture.
