ASKAR FRA 300 60mm f/5 Quintillion Astrograph
ASKAR is a line of telescopes selected for astrophotography. With these telescopes, great value is placed on both optical and mechanical quality. The product designation FRA stands for a refractor telescope with an integrated corrector element for a flat, corrected field of view. The FRA series is primarily used for astrophotography.
The ASKAR FRA300 is a Petzval 5-element apochromatic with a focal length of 300 mm, f/5 and an aperture of 60 mm. 2 ED glasses are installed on the lens for good color error correction. The apo is corrected for cameras up to full format.
The dew protection cap also offers good stray light protection and is extendable .The large focuser also supports heavy cameras and allows precise focusing thanks to microfocusing. T2, M48 and M54 threads are available for connections. The working distance is optimized for all common cameras, from mirrorless systems to DSLR and astronomical cameras (CMOS and CCD).

The ASKAR FRA300 was designed for astrophotography. The working distance from the connecting wires is not designed for observation with a 2" star diagonal or prisms. With a T2 star diagonal prism with a short light path and good Plöss eyepieces, you can focus and make very nice observations.
