Dovetail PrimaLuceLab PLUS dovetail 240mm type Vixen.
The PrimaLuceLab dovetail Vixen type dovetail 240mm PLUS is designed to allow you to install your equipment on mounts that carry this type of anchor. It measures 240mm long and is useful for mounting medium sized telescopes (such as refractors up to 130mm or reflectors up to 200mm in diameter) on mounts with Vixen anchors (such as the SkyWatcher EQ5, HEQ5 or EQ6).
Like all elements of the PLUS system, this dovetail is manufactured with high precision mechanics (built with CNC machines on an aluminum block) and specially designed to facilitate the installation of other mechanical components such as support rings, guide rings or dovetail clamps.
The 240mm PLUS tail type Vixen is part of the PLUS system (Prima Luce Universal System) which includes a wide variety of other tails, plates, support rings, guide rings and dovetail clamps to give you the maximum freedom to build your mechanical support system.
In fact, all PLUS elements have threaded holes, holes and slots suitable for various connecting elements, always with maximum rigidity and comfort.
The aluminum is anodized to increase the hardness of the material and protect it from oxidation.
If you have mechanical accessories of other brands, you can also use all the elements of the PLUS system, thanks to the practical central slots .
