Baader GP/EQ-5/EQ-6 2451101 for S/C (C8,C9-1/4, C11)
- Fits OTA C8/9/11″ (base width 44 mm) on Vixen-GP or Synta-EQ5/HEQ5/6 or Celestron AVX/AS-GT mounts
- Only suitable for SC and HD OTAs with flat backplate of the previous series. (For Celestron OTAs with new round backplate, use orange anodized V-Dove Tail, 455 mm, drilled for Celestron 9.25" and 11" SC / HD (#2451745) or orange anodized V-Dove Tail Celestron, 345 mm, drilled for Celestron 8" SC / HD (#2451734))
- Length = 470 mm, with 70 mm wider contact surface for attachment of any pipe ring
- Fits Vixen clamps (and their clones) and all Celestron and Sky-Wachter mounts
- Anodized black, Weight: 640 gr
V-type plate for S/C with radius and with holes for telescopic S/C tubes (C8, C9 ¼, C11, Meade 8″) and with 70 mm wide support surface for mounting any tube ring, fits Vixen clamps (and their clones) as well as all Celestron mounts and Sky-Watcher mounts, weight 640 g.
For years we have been annoyed by the dovetail for the 8″ Schmidt-Cassegrain optics, which is too short (if you connect a CCD camera, for example, the optics cannot be balanced...).
So we spent a few thousand euros on a continuous casting mold and can have these prism bars made exclusively for us.
A real gain in functionality for every Schmidt-Cassegrain optic.
The dovetail V-type dovetail for S/C can protrude from the C8 tube from the back or front (!).
