With this fantastic dome you can easily and comfortably install your own observatory, protecting your equipment and avoiding the tedious task of assembling and disassembling the telescope in each observation.

The 2 meter diameter ScopeDome allows you to keep your equipment permanently installed in your observing site. This way, the instrument will always be aligned with the sky: you can keep either the polar alignment (if you have an equatorial mount), or the alignment stars (if your mount supports the parking function). Forget all the hard work that needs to be done every time you want to use your telescope, and spend more time having fun: every time you want to use the instrument to discover the wonders of the Universe, it will be ready to use in seconds!

The dome ScopeDome offered by Telescopiomania, is fully motorized and automated to allow software control and operation thanks to the compatibility with the ASCOM platform and USB port connection.

The dome ScopeDome can be installed on any flat surface made of masonry or wood. In order to help you with the installation, we add, together with the materials necessary for the installation of the dome and the instructions for use, a brief guide with instructions for the correct dimensioning of the dome base. Attention: under this reference we supply only the automated dome (Arduino), without the support cylinder and only with the ring for adaptation to the ceiling or to the concrete cylinder.

The basic version of the dome is designed to be mounted on the crown of the observatory, on the ring located on the roof, for example.

For fixing, it is suggested to use Hilti anchors and to seal all contact surfaces of the base ring with the dome with silicone.

If you want to install the dome in the garden, for example on a concrete platform, you can optionally add an additional tower with entrance door. There are two different heights: 80 and 120 cm. Each of the towers is equipped as standard with a front door and a shelf for the equipment. And you can also order the tower with two or three shelves for a more orderly placement of your equipment (THIS OPTION IS NOT INCLUDED WITH THIS REFERENCE)

The dome is light enough to be opened and rotated by hand in case of emergency or power failure.
