Dome Parts Optical's GreenLine detachable canopy observatory kits are economical and environmentally friendly alternatives to observatory domes. These detachable cover kits, manufactured in Germany, are extremely easy to install, requiring no specialized tools and are supplied flat-packed

The GreenLine MEGA-44 is ideal for demanding astrophotographers, schools or astronomical societies, with a large surface area of 3.5 mx 3.5 m . The ample space has enough room for several telescopes up to 16" along with optional tables, workbenches and storage shelves. The basic configuration includes an easy-to-use, manually operated double sloped roof, movable rear walls that synchronize with the roof, and a lockable sliding door. Optional warm room configurations are available upon request.

GreenLine observatories are available in a variety of sizes to accommodate individual small telescopes and remote multiple telescope installations. Optional semi-automatic roof drive systems are available for all Mini, Medium and Big dolly observatories, as well as full ASCOM automation configurations for remote control via Ethernet and USB. All Greenline observatories have cogrim gears, pulleys and counterweights pre-installed. The roof drive system can be easily added and is as simple as inserting the motor unit.

Greenline observatories are fumigated, but the wood is not treated. As these observatories have been installed all over the world , Greenline recommends using the proper treatment specific to the types of pests found in your local area.
