The focuser is designed for high loads and best possible precision at the same time. Especially in astrophotography, high focuser precision is demanded.
- The steel ball bearings are oversized.
- As a counterpart to the ball bearings, a V2A stainless steel plate is used. Even at maximum load, the adjustment is smooth.
- The maximum load of the focuser is 6 kg, with total precision and smoothness.
- The 1:10 transmission is made of professional quality V2A sttel.
- The focuser offers compression rings for 3", 2" and 1.25" attachments.
- The drawtube accepts 3" accessoiries in its full length, no bottelneck blocks the passage.
- The draw tube is provided with an anti-reflective thread.
- In addition, there is an auxiliary M82 thread on the drawtube to permanently install M82 filters, for example.
Motorfocus
The USB_FOCUS_SET and USB_FOCUS_SET-H can be easily adapted to the UNCN3 focuser using the BR-UNCN3.
The USB_FOCUS allows motorized focusing and even full remote operation.
