Product Details

Focuser TS rack and pinion (RAP) 2" focuser for Schmidt-Cassegrain telescopes

The ultimate focuser for Schmidt-Cassegrain, EHD, ACF and Intes Micro telescopes with greater load capacity and accuracy than most conventional Crayford focusers we know. We recommend this focuser especially to astronomy enthusiasts who use their telescopes for observing and astrophotography and place great importance on higher rigidity and accuracy.

Note: The focuser only works on telescopes with an aperture of at least 8", otherwise the focusing knob is too close to the thread to allow mounting.

Maximum rigidity due to 8 ball bearings supporting the drive tube
The adjustment is decoupled from the bearing - by a helical gear rack
Even with a load of 3 kg, the focuser retains its properties.
