ZWO CH4 Methane 20nm 31.8mm filter CH4 Methane 20nm 31.8mm

The ZWO Methane (CH4) filter is a special filter for photographic use.

Its FWHM (Full Width Heigth Medium) is 20nm. With this bandwidth this Methane filter is very suitable for most IR (Infrared) sensitive sensors whether color or monochrome. It will allow revealing details in not very dark objects. It is recommended for planetary photography especially for Jupiter and Saturn.

The filter is mounted in a 1.25" screw-in cell and is supplied in a plastic case.
