The TSMKOLLI is an optical collimator with LED. It contains an achromatic objective inside, which can be used with an eyepiece or an astronomical camera. It functions as a small optical tube inside the focuser of your telescope. Four LEDs form a set of concentric lights from each optical surface of the telescope. The mirror surfaces give bright -brightness, the lens surfaces -lowlights. Thanks to this, the collimator objectively and clearly shows the collimation status of the telescope and allows you to correct it quickly.

The aluminum body has two landing barrels for 2 and 1.25" (with filter thread inside). So you can use the TSMKOLLI with all types of telescope focusers. It is also equipped with a single thread focuser for eyepiece or camera. You can use a 1.25 eyepiece to observe the image. Depending on the type of optical system and the focal length of the telescope, you should choose the optimum magnification. But a more convenient way would be to install an astronomical camera and display the image on the computer screen. The use of a filter makes an additional set of light spots that will indicate the position of the focuser in the overall image of the light spots.

TSMKOLLI also makes it possible to detect backlashes in the telescope mechanics and evaluate their effect on collimation. The slightest displacements of the focuser or of the optical elements in its cells are quickly apparent, changing the image constructed by the collimator. All this allows you to adjust the telescope for the most advanced observations or imaging of celestial objects.

Note: The LED collimator is powered by a 12 V power supply (2.5x5.5 mm female connector) and not by batteries. The 12 V power supply unit for the power supply is not included as standard.
