Observe astronomical objects with both eyes. Creates a three-dimensional view. Focuses with any telescope.

  • Allows binocular observations with telescopes
  • Relaxed and comfortable viewing
  • Additional detail seen when both eyes are used for observing
  • Suitable for all telescopes with 1.25'' eyepiece connection
  • For observing the moon, planets and deep sky objects
  • No additional light path needed
  • No magnification factor in the binocular attachment
  • Original eyepiece focal length is maintained
  • Even low magnifications can be achieved with large fields of view
  • High quality carrying case included

You see better with two eyes
The BRESSER BinoViewer Deluxe allows you to observe astronomical objects in a relaxed way with both eyes and with considerably more detail than using only one eye. The images created of the moon, planets and globular clusters are particularly impressive. Detecting details in deep sky objects, such as the Orion nebula, will be much easier. At the same time, this binoviewer is very easy to operate. Thanks to the new patented optical system, you can focus with any telescope. All you need is a pair of identical eyepieces to enjoy this dramatic and immersive viewing experience.

how to use the BinoViewer?
Since BRESSER's BinoViewer Deluxe does not require an additional light path (retrofocus), it can be used with any telescope - including Newtonians and short-focus refractor telescopes, which traditionally suffered when using standard binoviewers. No light path corrector or similar accessory is required. If a standard 1.25'' eyepiece can be focused, the binoviewer will also work. The eyepiece focal length and field of view size of the eyepieces used are retained in full. As with binoculars, one eyepiece is first focused with the telescope's focuser. The second eyepiece can then be focused using the helical focuser of the binocular. The required interpupillary distance is carefully adjusted over a range of 58-74 mm with the aid of a linear sliding mechanism, with graduated marker, to help you find your ideal interocular setting quickly. Self-centering helical eyepiece grips are used instead of side-mounted thumbscrew eyepiece retainers, which decreases the possibility of collimation of the two eyepieces with each other. The fact that this binoviewer design uses a well-designed linear sliding mechanism to adjust the interpupillary distance, rather than a traditional hinge design that is cheaper to produce, also aids collimation retention.

what objects can be observed with this accessory?

Actually, all objects previously observed with the telescope in question, albeit monocularly with one eye. As there is no magnification factor in the binoviewer, even low magnifications can be achieved. This makes not only the Moon, planets and globular clusters, but also the brightest objects in the deep sky very interesting observing objects. The use of both eyes leads to a more relaxed view than the use of only one eye. Although true depth of field at infinity is a bit beyond most telescopes and binoculars, users will notice how the human brain tries to impose depth-of-field ("3d-like") effects on stereoscopic observations through binoculars. The biggest difference most observers comment on when comparing views through binoviewers such as these versus views through a single eyepiece is the extra detail in most observable targets. Relaxed viewing and minimal extra detail on objects are the two main benefits of binovision, which the BRESSER Bino Viewer Deluxe 1.25'' certainly delivers.

It is also ideal as an accessory for solar telescopes

A very special application is to use the BRESSER BinoViewer Deluxe in combination with all solar telescopes. The spherical shape of the sun with all its surface details is impressively displayed. The depth of field effects when viewing the filaments silhouetted against the solar surface are especially pleasing to observe.

important note: Do not use the BRESSER Binoviwer Deluxe without a suitable solar telescope or a safe solar filter in front of the objective lens of the telescope. Otherwise, there is a serious risk of going blind.

High-quality mechanics and materials

The entire BRESSER BinoViewer Deluxe is made of high quality materials. Except for the plastic outer covers, all components are made of anodized aluminum. Particularly noteworthy is the low backlash sliding mechanism for interpupillary distance adjustment and the precise swivel clamping of both eyepiece adapters. The large clamping surface holds the eyepieces securely in place and also automatically centers them on the optical axis. The unilateral dioptric adjustment has a backlash-free helical drive and allows for the finest corrections. For safe transport, a high-quality carrying case is included.

which eyepieces can be used?
All eyepieces with a 1.25'' barrel and a field stop up to 22 mm. Depending on the interpupillary distance, the outer diameter of the eyepiece housing must not exceed a value of approximately 50 mm.

1.25'' filter thread available
A second set of filters is not necessary to operate the BRESSER Binocular Approach Deluxe. The desired color or nebula filter can be screwed directly onto the 1.25'' nosepiece. In this configuration, when changing eyepieces to affect a magnification change, there is no need to exchange filters.

Unique mirror lens system with lanthanum glass material from Ohara (Japan)
The BRESSER Deluxe binocular rifle scope is equipped with a unique mirror lens system. This has the advantage of increased light transmission and reduced chromatic aberration. The resulting image is simply brighter and sharper. The unique lanthanum glass material from Ohara (Japan) has been used for this and, in addition, all optical surfaces are equipped with a full broadband multilayer coating. Finally, the beam-splitter mirror has a 99% dielectric coating and completes the excellent optical design.
