The microscope BMS D3 has high-resolution objectives and two wide-field (WF) eyepieces with flat optics.

The optics allow the user to view clear, colorful images without chromatic aberrations and high contrast. The stability of the microscope is ensured by the solid design of the stand and its stand.

The microscope BMS D3 is equipped with a large, frameless stage and an integrated mobile specimen carriage. Its large working surface, 144 x 200 mm, makes it easy to work with two specimen holders at the same time. The integrated X-Y carriage is easy to use thanks to the ergonomically located coaxial controls.

The Abbe condenser is easy to interchange with various accessories, such as darkfield or phase contrast condensers. The condenser can be adjusted in height using the rack and pinion system.

All optical surfaces (eyepiece and objectives) are coated with an anti-fungus coating.

The new generation of LED illumination provides comfort and eye relief. The LED spectrum is equal to daylight and is adjustable in intensity. The LED light source is comparable to a 30 W halogen light source.

General features of the BMS D3 series:

• 10x/22 mm wide field eyepieces with high eye point, anti-fungus coating, and superior optical elements to ensure a bright and clear, sharp, true-color image. Flexible, collapsible eyepiece eyecups top it all off.
• Inverted quadruple objective nosepiece revolver, with high-resolution Infinity ePlan INFINITY CORRECTED objectives and rubber ring for improved grip. You can easily check which objective is in use and change magnifications without other objectives getting in the way.
• A large, frameless stage with high-precision, low-position coaxial XY control mechanical stage and vernier, two-slide specimen holder. The mechanical stage tuned for optimal specimen positioning.
• Ergonomically positioned coaxial fine and coarse (micro and macro) coaxial focusing mechanism, bilateral. For precise and effortless focusing.
• New generation, stable and flicker-free 3-watt LED with low power consumption. With natural daylight output for optimum visual comfort. The condenser is equipped with an iris diaphragm.
• The microscope offers 3 standard types of electrical use in a microscope: 1. 100~230V connection via the included power cord 2. Automatically recharges while connected to the power supply. Rechargeable batteries available as accessory (item number 29554; AA rechargeable battery, pack of three) or 3. Standard non-rechargeable batteries, type AA, 1.5 V, 3 pieces.
• The main power switch is located on the back and the light intensity control knob is located on the side. All for easy operational use.

• Focusing: coaxial coarse and fine adjustment on both sides. Fine adjustment is supplied with a scale division. Each division equals 0.0015 mm (0.30 mm/rotation).
• Sample stage: Without frame, 144 x 200 mm, suitable for two samples prepared at the same time. Equipped with integrated movable specimen holder with ergonomically placed coaxial controls for precise X-Y movement. Reach 77 x 32 mm.
• Condenser: Abbe condenser (N.A. 1.25) on stand, with centering screws. Height adjustable by rack and pinion. With iris diaphragm (0 - 100% adjustable).
• Illumination: New generation LED (3 Watt) with Köhler iris diaphragm. The light intensity is continuously variable by means of a potentiometer. Intensity comparable with 30 W halogen.
• LED lifetime: approx. 50,000 hours
• Magnification: 40x, 100x, 400x and 1000x. Optional to be enlarged to 2000x.
