Product Details

From Baader Planetarium comes this excellent apochromatic ABBE Barlow from ZEISS. The combination of ED type very low dispersion optical glass and the excellent original Carl optical treatment Zeiss make this Barlow perhaps the best Barlow in the world. With a modular configuration, this system has a 1.25 socket that houses the lens system and is equipped with a T-thread at the top. The assembly is complemented by the original ClickLock eyecup from Baader Planetarium. This provides a magnification factor of 2x, but with the optional tele-extenders it is possible to achieve values of up to 4x while maintaining excellent image quality at all times. For example, the use of the 40 mm tele-extender provides 2.6x, going up to 3.3x when combining two extension units and up to 3.99x with the use of three.
