The Vanguard PH-123V is constructed with state-of-the-art materials and utilizes advanced production processes to provide the most versatile and practical product to help elevate the quality of your work. It features a secure locking system that keeps your equipment in place in all angular positions and also offers ultra-smooth movement for perfect videographic results. Made of magnesium alloy, the 2-way video head safely supports up to 8 kg. The ALTA PH-123V features a load compensation system and precision front-to-rear adjustment for ideal balance and center-of-gravity positioning for your camera. A compensation switch engages the system, and a large hot-shoe safety release button allows for quick and safe removal of the camera. The PH-123V is capable of tilting between +60° and -90° and provides 360° rotation. The double-sized long position handle ensures great control leverage, while the bubble level will make your panoramic shooting sessions as easy and effortless as possible.
The counterbalance system for vertical panning provides an incredibly smooth experience even with a long telephoto lens. The PH-123V ensures smooth tilt movements between +60° and -90° and provides a full 360° of smooth panning range.
Its solid, smooth 60 mm base and closed-design ball head construction are designed to safely support 8 kg and weighs less than 800 g, combining performance with versatility and precision.
The flat-base mount allows you to attach a wide variety of support systems, from sliders to tripods to monopods and more.
Its long, ergonomic, non-slip handle offers precise movements - the leverage you need for better control of heavy cameras. The handle is ambidextrous and can be placed in either right or left-handed position.
The large safety quick release button allows fast and safe removal of the camera. The head is delivered with the QS-67 hot shoe, compatible with 1/4"-20", 3/8"-16" thread and video pin. The QS has a length of 90 mm.
For use with other attachments thanks to the 3/8" Alta Link connectors, the ALTA PH-123V is also equipped with a bright bubble level for a perfect leveling position.
