The Veo Active 42M backpack is an outdoor and photographic backpack that combines the best of both worlds. The durability and comfort of a mountain backpack, with the finishes and features of a classic photo backpack.

With a capacity of 17 liters. When used for photographic equipment, the removable camera bag is designed to carry a mirrorless camera (or small DSLR) and 3-4 lenses (up to 70-200mm), but its customizable interior can be configured to protect multiple photography and observation equipment. The top lid of the internal bag is designed to fold up and hide inside the backpack, to allow you to have it open for easy rear access to your complete kit. You can also keep it closed for added protection when you don't need to access it on the go, or when you want to leave your camera at home and use it as an everyday backpack.

The backpack has multiple pockets and compartments in addition to the photo compartment:

• Two interior pockets for a 13" laptop and 10" tablet.
• Separate top compartment for personal kit (or more camera kit).
• Side pocket for a hydration bag.
• Elastic side pocket.
• Secure rear compartment for valuables (such as a wallet or passport).
• Expandable shoulder harness pockets.
• Expandable waist compartment.
• Includes a pouch for your accessories, such as cables, batteries and SD cards.

The two rear straps allow a full-size tripod to be attached to the rear, providing optimum balance at long distances. Alternatively, you can attach a tripod on the side.

There is also a USB cable that allows you to carry the power bank of your choice in the top compartment, and connect it to your device to keep it charged on the go.

If you're using it as an everyday backpack, just remove the inner camera bag (which will keep your camera gear safe at home) and you're ready to go. You can use the rear access or the top-to-bottom side access.

As this series is designed to carry larger kits over longer distances, extra attention has been paid to ergonomics to provide maximum comfort. This includes a reinforced aluminum frame that increases the level of protection for your gear and reinforces the back of the backpack. It is designed to follow the curve of the upper spine. On the back itself there is a padded waist cushion and shoulder pads with an ample airflow system. The shoulder straps are also well padded with an adjustable chest strap, and there is a padded waist belt to spread the load. The waist belt can be removed or secured around the pack so it won't flap on shorter trips.

To stand up to the rigors of the outdoors, the Veo Active series is made of weather- and tear-resistant 840D nylon cordura with waterproof zippers, herringbone stitching and quality double stitching. For rainier days, the VEO Active includes a rain cover.
