The new tripods from Avalon Instruments have been designed to revolutionize the world of portable astronomy in terms of both design and functionality. Avalon Instruments aVALON T-Pod 110 is a renowned manufacturer of precision mechanics that has been able to combine high performance with an elegant and typically Italian design.

Made entirely of anodized aluminum with stainless steel components, their lightness and high stability make these Avalon T-POD tripods the ideal companion for nomadic observers and astrophotographers.

The new Avalon T-POD tripods are available in three sizes and capacities, the T-90 with 60 Kg capacity and the T-110, T-130 with 100 Kg capacity.

Despite having these considerable load capacities, the Avalon T-PODs are extremely lightweight, the T-90 weighs only 4.5Kg and can be folded to a compact 55cm in length. As a maximum height it can reach 90cm.

The T-110cm model weighs only 6.9 kg and can be folded to a compact 75 cm in length. As maximum height it can reach 110cm. And the T-130 model weighs 7.6 kg, folds to 99 cm and can reach a maximum height of 130 cm.

The tripods include a bubble level which allows them to be easily set up on the observation site. The tripods are supplied with a handle which makes transporting and handling the tripod much easier.

The Avalon T-POD tripods are originally designed to be used with the Avalon M-Uno, Linear and M-Zero mounts but the T-130 model can also be compatible with other types of mounts such as the SkyWatcher/OrionEQ6/Atlas and AZEQ6/Atlas Pro AZEQ-G mounts, Celestron CGEM, Losmandy G11, Takahashi EM200, Vixen SXV/SXD/SXP/SXD2 and many others, while the T-90 is compatible with other mounts such as SkyWatcher/Orion EQ-5/HEQ5/Sirius, Celestron CG-5/AVX, Takahashi EM10, Vixen GP/GPD2 and others. .. Compatibility can be direct or through the use of an adapter.
