The CELESTRON focusing motor for SCT and EDGE HD tubes allows electronic focusing using either a computer or the control knob of a computerized mount on equipment that is controlled remotely.

General features:

Auto power supply: when connected to a computerized mount Celestron, power is already supplied by the mount. When connected directly to a PC, the USB port will power the focusing motor.

Compatible with a wide variety of equipment Celestron Schmidt-Cassegrain, EdgeHD, and Rowe-Ackermann Schmidt optical systems.

Motor controls include multiple speeds, preset focuser positions associated with the GOTO, and automatic focuser gear backlash compensation.

The focuser and Windows software application provides a very simple user interface. It is also compatible with Celestron PWI.

Allows autofocus with a camera and compatibility with third party software via ASCOM.

The indexed focus position allows the motor to automatically return to a previous focus position and prevents the focuser motor from reaching the end of the mechanical stop of the focusing travel.
Not compatible with the EDGE HD 9.25" optical tube.

• Compatible optical tubes

  The focusing motor is compatible with all SCTs from 6" to 14" aperture that have been produced since 2006. It is not compatible with 5" SCTs or earlier models. It is compatible with the 8" Rowe-Ackermann Schmidt Astograph (RASA), the 36 cm RASA, the 7" Maksutov-Cassegrain and all EdgeHD optical tubes. The RASA 11 (91075) is compatible with focusing motor no. 94155-A, but the RASA 11 (91075) is compatible with focusing motor no. 94155-A. the RASA 11 V2 (91076) is compatible with #94155-A without the need for a modification kit.
