FocusCube Zero
A must for successful astrophotography sessions with your SCT telescope
Fast, reliable and accurate focusing of your telescope Celestron SCT using the "FocusCube Zero".

Designed in high quality with modern electronics, FocusCube can provide precise digital focus control from a PC. The device includes a stepper motor forthe electronics and stepper motor are enclosed in a compact housing. The electronics and stepper motor are enclosed in a compact size housing.

The stepper motor provides high speed, precision focusing and zero backlash - all you need is this device to focus! Connect the FocusCube Zero to your SCT telescope, plug in the power, connect the USB cable, download the ASCOM drivers or our Unity platform and you're ready to go!

IMPORTANT NOTE

FocusCube is a stand-alone device and includes controller functionality.
It does not include or require a physical handheld controller.
DO NOT pair with Dual Motor Focus Controller or any other controller on the market.
DO NOT connect this RJ45 port to the RJ45 Stepper output of the Ultimate Powerbox.

The RJ45 port on the rear is only for the handheld controller or the included temperature sensor.

Zero backlash stepper motor

The built-in bipolar stepper motor provides zero backlash motion.The motor allows you to move quickly from any focus point to another.Since there is no reduction gearbox, the speed is adequate to move the primary mirror in or out at very fast speeds.

Easy and repeatable V-curve focusing

A V-curve is the result of moving the focus of a telescope from an out-of-focus position toward focus and then further in the same direction out-of-focus again.
With FocusCube Zero you can easily achieve near-perfect V-curve lines that lead to a sharply focused image.

SCT Support

A specially shaped black anodized aluminum bracket, which is difficult to bend, can be attached to most SCT telescopes in the market Celestron.

Please note that we offer three different versions of SCT.
The difference is in the inside diameter of the metal pulley and the length of the bolt in the package.
Make sure you have selected the correct type for your telescope.

Temperature probe

An external digital temperature sensor input is located near the motor connector.A one meter (3 feet) long digital probe is supplied.The probe can be placed close to the focuser so that the exact temperature of the focuser/environment can be viewed through the supplied software or ASCOM controller (probe is included in the package)

Expansion port/manual focus (optional accessory)

FocusCube includes an RJ45 expansion port on the rear of the cabinet.This port provides input for the temperature sensor.You can purchase ahandheld controlleroptionalfor manual focus control for those wishing to add this functionality

Firmware upgrade support

The firmware supports reprogramming via USB 2.0 connection using the update software (only available for Windows), for future updates that may become available. We constantly receive feedback from our customers and continue to update the firmware and software with new features.
