Engine Focus Zero Kit (For SCTs)
A must-have for successful astrophotography sessions
Focus your telescope accurately and quickly Celestron SCT using our powerful SCT Engine Focus Zero Kit. This fast, backlash-free stepper motor has the torque needed to focus your SCT telescope with great precision.
The pulley and belt design allows the motor to stay clear of (and not collide with) your filter wheel when using a focal reducer. Its sophisticated SCT bracket design (daisy chain style) can be adapted to all new SCTs from Celestron (Classic / Edge) and the RASA series.
The Engine Focus SCT Kit has been replaced by Motor Focus Kit Zero.
Zero enables backlash-free movement and is much faster than the previous motor
Note that you will also need a motor controller to drive this motor.

SCT Support
A specially shaped black anodized aluminum bracket, which is difficult to bend, can be attached to most SCT telescopes in the market Celestron.
We have successfully installed it in:

- CelestronClassic and Edge HD 11(SKU:PEG-FCZERO-SCT11)
- CelestronClassic and Edge HD 14(SKU:PEG-FCZERO-SCT14)
- CelestronRASA 8"(SKU: PEG-FCZERO-SCT68925)
- CellestronRASA 11"(V2: for V1 you will need the upgrade kit from Celestron) (SKU:PEG-FCZERO-SCT11)
- CelestronRASA 14"(SKU:PEG-FCZERO-SCT14)
Please note that we offer three different versions of SCT.
The difference is in the inside diameter of the metal pulley and the length of the bolt in the package.
Make sure you have selected the correct type for your telescope.
Note that some older SCT series are not compatible with the SCT mount, so contact us with a photo of your telescope's focuser if you are unsure if your telescope can accept the SCT mount.
The SCT mount was designed to support the SCT telescopes from Celestron.Although, we have seen that it fits perfectly in telescopes Meade SCTs that have a round focus knob.Please check the image if your Telescope Meade is the same as the one in the photo.
