Fixed length tele-extender tube Kepler for projection astrophotography
The Kepler fixed length tele-extender tube is an adapter for projection astrophotography through an eyepiece. With an internal diameter of 38 mm, this adapter can be used with any "classic" eyepiece with a diameter of 1.25" (31.75 mm).
The inlet arrangement (telescope side) is either a 1.25" (31.75 mm) nosepiece or an M42 female thread and, on the outlet, the adapter has an M42 male thread.
This is an accessory designed for taking eyepiece photographs through the telescope, thus obtaining high magnifications.
The following formula can be used to approximately determine the effective focal length: LFE = (Focal length of telescope/Focal length of eyepiece) x DF (the distance between the front lens of the eyepiece and the focal plane of the camera in millimeters).
The tele-extender extension tube Kepler is used for high power lunar, solar and planetary photography, as well as extreme terrestrial photography.
When using this accessory keep in mind that, due to the high magnification produced by this combination, special care must be taken to avoid vibrations, precise alignment with the Polar and good observing conditions.
The projection photo adapter Kepler is made of black anodized metal.
