Telescopiomania is pleased to be the first to introduce you to the ATIKbase. A single point of connectivity and control for your cameras and other hardware, bringing a new level of portability and versatility to your imaging system, integrating the Atik Air concept into an affordable unit.

Increasingly, astronomers are looking to improve the portability of their equipment and the quality of their images. ATIKbase is a small computer that can be mounted on your telescope to conveniently control cameras and other hardware from your portable devices. The software is a collaboration with Ikarus Technologies to create a customized version of their StellaMate system, which offers the following capabilities:

• Manage everything from a single interface
• Powerful image acquisition capabilities
• Automatic focus
• Support for in-house and third-party guidance software
• High-precision GoTo telescope control
• Astrophoto target suggestion
• Workflow automation

In addition to the above features, ATIKbase goes further and offers some benefits that further enhance the user experience:

• EKOS Live offline mode: to allow the StellaMate web interface running on mobile devices to control the imaging system without the need for Internet or VNC access
• Runs directly from 12 V: beyond that, the device can distribute 12 V power to other hardware, including cameras and mount
• Includes a focus motor controller compatible with Robo focus, Moonlite or Lakeside motors to provide further integration
• An ST4 port is available to enable guiding if the mount cannot be connected to USB ports
• Compatible with Atik Air
