Janna Levin is Claire Tow Professor of Physics and Astronomy at Barnard College, Columbia University, and is the director and founder of the Department of Science Studies at Pioneer Works. A recipient of a Guggenheim Fellowship, she has been instrumental in the study and understanding of black holes, multidimensional cosmology and the role of gravitational waves in shaping space-time.
