Sky-Watcher 70/700 AZ2 achromatic refractor telescope.
70 mm achromatic refractor telescope. This model is a great classic for the initiation to the observation of the sky. Available at a very attractive price, it allows everyone to start enjoying a quality instrument (unlike instruments sold in non-specialized stores). The two-element achromatic air-spaced lens incorporates multi-coating treatment and provides excellent low and medium magnification images of the Moon and planets. The telescope is already collimated from the factory and requires no readjustment.
With 36% more light gathering power compared to a 60 mm telescope, this model offers many more observing possibilities.
Its focal length of 700 mm (f/10 focal ratio) is ideal for observing fine details on the Moon (craters of various sizes) and planetary atmospheres (Jupiter and Saturn). With this equipment the satellites of Jupiter and the ring of Saturn will be at your fingertips.
It is supplied with an AZ2 mount, a very easy to use model (altazimuthal mode with up-down / left-right movements). The positioning of the object to be observed is easily done by loosening 2 screws. The tripod incorporates an accessory tray to place caps, eyepieces or filters.
