The AZ4 altazimuth mount has manual controls for pointing the telescope using the vertical (altitude) and horizontal (azimuth) axes of motion. It is typically used for terrestrial observation with telescopes or binoculars, but can also be used for astronomical observation by tracking astronomical objects using the manual movement controls on both axes. The AZ4 altazimuth mount has the advantage of being light, stable, compact and very easy to use.
