The Shelyak LISA spectrograph is the perfect scientific and educational tool to enter the fascinating and enlightening world of spectrography. The LISA is a low-resolution, high-luminosity spectrograph that is capable of studying faint objects, including variable stars, asteroids, comets, novae, nebulae, galaxies and quasars.

It also allows chemical analysis of planets in the visible and near infrared (with the addition of the LISA infrared kit). This LISA model comes with a slot for the study of objects in the visible range from 400 to 700 nm. The included slit has four positions: 15, 19, 23 and 35um. Additional slots are optionally available.

The Shelyak LISA faceplate includes a standard T-thread (M42 x 0.75 mm) for easy attachment to the telescope. The backfocus is 41 mm, measured from the top of the flat face of the instrument to the slot position.
