The SkyWatcher 90/900 telescope is ideal for planetary observation and for terrestrial observation (in this case you would need to buy an inverting prism to make the image erect). But it is also a great telescope to be used as a guide tube or secondary tube to support another main tube.

It is a doublet with two air-spaced, multi-coated achromatic elements that provide high quality images at low and medium magnifications of Jupiter, Saturn and many lunar craters.

This tube on sale at Telescopiomania comes with rings and a 1¼" 12.5 mm Super type eyepiece. It mounts a 1.25" rack and pinion eyepiece holder. It also incorporates a screw on one of the rings to attach a camera in piggy back.
