150 mm diameter achromatic refractor telescope. This fantastic Sky-Watcher 150/1200 tube is one of the most versatile large diameter refractors, allowing you to observe the deep sky as well. In fact, its large 150 mm diameter allows it to capture 56% more light compared to a 120 mm telescope. Its focal length of 1200 mm provides an intermediate focal ratio (f / 8), making it ideal for both planetary observation and astronomical photography. In visual observation, it will allow you to make a spectacular tour of the most beautiful Messier objects and discover the brightest nebulae, galaxies and globular clusters.
It is a doublet with two air-spaced achromatic elements, treated with multiple layers and providing high quality images at low and medium magnifications of Jupiter, Saturn and many lunar craters.
This tube on offer at Telescopiomania is delivered with the rings and V-type V-mount adapter plate, 9x magnification and 50 mm diameter adjustable clamp finder, and two 1¼" Super type eyepieces of 10 mm and 25 mm. It mounts a 2" rack eyepiece holder with a 1¼" reducer and a brake to fix the focus position. It also incorporates a screw on one of the rings to attach a camera in piggy back.
