Product Details

Sky Watcher 70/500 refractor telescope.

Compact and transportable, the Sky-Watcher 70/500 telescope is a very interesting tube for astronomical and terrestrial observation. The telescope can also be very useful as a second instrument for astrophotography (autoguiding).

Under this reference this tube is supplied with rings only and no other accessories are included.

The optics consist of two achromatic elements that correct an important part of the chromatism that usually affects refractor telescopes. The advanced multi-coating treatment on the lenses increases light transmission compared to models of other brands. Since there are no secondary mirrors in refractors, they provide higher contrast than reflector telescopes of equivalent diameter.

wARNING! The focus point of the telescope is located approximately 40mm from the end of the tube. An extension tube or diagonal will be essential.
