Product Details

SKYWATCHER REFRACTOR ACHROMATIC 80/400 TELESCOPE.

The SkyWatcher 80/400 refractor teles cope is an air-spaced, achromatic doublet with multi-coated lenses .It can provide excellent views of star fields, clusters, nebulae, galaxies, planets, the Moon and the Sun (with the appropriate filter or by projection).

It can also be used as a ground telescope either when mounted on an altazimuth mount, or mounted on a photographic tripod. It is a great value for money telescope and is ideal for beginning astronomy observers or as a travel telescope as it weighs only 1.7kg and measures 39 cm.

ATTENTION: under this reference only the tube without mount is supplied.

This telescope can be used for both terrestrial and astronomical photography. Its brightness is excellent for capturing lunar and solar images, eclipses, as well as for nature photography. In some configurations to achieve focus it may be necessary to add an extension tube or a diagonal, which is common in astrophotographic applications.
