SkyWatcher 120/1000 BD achromatic refractor optical tube

The SkyWatcher 120/1000 BD achromatic refractor telescope provides high magnification and high resolution optics, making it an ideal choice for planetary observation as well as planetary photography. With its 120mm diameter, this achromatic refractor is one of the largest aperture tubes in the amateur range of telescopes at this level. The focal ratio of f/8.3 means that most of its chromatic aberrations have been corrected. Being a refractor, the images it offers are of high contrast, so in Telescopiomania we recommend its use exclusively to focus on planetary observation.

The most important thing when observing planets is the ability to see specific details on the surface, such as the polar caps on Mars, the great red spot on Jupiter, etc. With this telescope, nothing can prevent you from comfortably strolling through all the objects in the Solar System. But that's not all, because with a diameter of 120mm its light gathering power (293x the naked eye gathering) will also allow you to perfectly observe some deep sky objects such as star clusters and some nebulae from the Messier catalog.
